Why You Will Never Get Rich Working for Someone Else

Think about all the people in upper management at your company. They all have a large stake in the company you work for, usually with stock options and a large bonus. They actually care about the health of the company. Now, think of all the other workers in the company you work for, there may be thousands. Almost all of these “other” workers will never get any higher in the corporate ladder than manager and that’s if their lucky. It’s not because they aren’t good enough, it’s because those people at the very top are greedy. Did you know the average CEO’s salary is about 40x what the average worker makes? Are they really worth that much more than everyone else? Not really, after all even CEO’s can be replaced.

Business owners don’t want you to be like them. Sure they’ll promote you, but only so far. Owners don’t want to share the wealth and who’s to blame them. The wealth and power in any business is always retained by a select few. Everyone else has to fight for the scraps. So why are you working for someone else?
