What to Say during an Interview

Do you freeze during interviews?  Maybe, you don’t know what to say in an interview and the harder you think the tougher it is to find the words you’re looking for.   Unfortunately, it has happened to most of us at some point, but why at the moment that we’ve been waiting for to give our speech do we end up drawing a blank?  There are many reasons.  For one, you are in a high stress environment.  Everything you do and say is looked at under a microscope.  You have only an hour to prove to your interviewer that you are worthy of their time.   With all these thoughts bouncing around in your head it is no wonder you stumble with your words.

For many people, going to a car dealership is a nightmare.  Salesmen in your face as soon as you get in asking “is there any particular vehicle you’re interested in?”  All you have to do is tell them which car you like and the next thing you know you’re sitting at a desk with sales figures written all over the paper in front of you.

It doesn’t have to be like that.   Negotiating the price of a car is a slow and carefully thought out process if you want to get the best deal.

Who’s Not Getting Any Oil? …China!

Today I read a story on CNN.com about a boy who was saddened by the fact that his step dad was going to be deployed in Iraq.  I read it and thought “Why is the United States still in Iraq.”   It’s obviously not to stop Iraq or Saddam from creating weapons of mass destruction.  Saddam is dead and Iraq was thoroughly inspected for these weapons and is currently under occupation by the US.   So what’s the real reason for staying there?
